During last night's no limit holdem telecast on ESPN (eventually won by Farzad Bonyadi), there was a "great" dry side bluff made by the great Dane, Lars Bonding, while the shortstack was all in with a superior hand. Fortunately, Bonyadi called with a gutshot, made a pair of kings on the turn and managed to get it heads up. I can't conceive of why Bonding made that move there, unless he just couldn't help it given what appeared to be a relentlessly aggressive approach. Danny Negreanu,
in one of my all-time favorite articles, would not approve.
